Estrecho Natural Park, covers an area of 18,910 hectares was declared as such in 2003. It stretches from Ensenada to Getares (Algeciras) to the Cabo de Gracia (Tarifa), that is all its coastline. So, is bathed by both the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, separated these by the Gibraltar Strait. Strait to the African coast is just 14 km. In it are located the mountains of The Hub and The Kid. Karst highlights from the surrounding seabed, covering the entire coast of Cadiz, which is full of Southern Art callers or set of rock art.
Within the park are: marshes and estuary of the Lances, Cabrita Islets and Paloma, Tarifa Island (southern rock fringe), abrasion platforms from Tarifa to and from Los Parentones Tolmo Ensenada to Punta Carnero.
There are hiking trails and very beautiful set along the sea: 1) of the Bologna Ensenada to Punta Paloma, 2) from the Bay of Algeciras to Argamasilla and the Sierra del Cabrito, 3) from the Bay of Algeciras to the Punta del Carnero and Arenillas farmhouses.
